J. Doug Bowers, Chairman Emeritus, (1944 – 2024), was a visionary developer, a construction expert, a warm, engaging, kind leader who believed deeply in people and his family. He gave us his wisdom, life philosophy, and enduring example to follow.

Doug was born in 1944, the only boy with four sisters, he
stepped up as the man of the family when his father died when Doug was only 14. At a young age, he learned to lead and set an example to those around him.

Doug accomplished many personal and professional pursuits. As a general contractor, he always kept his eye on the ball, which was his associations and relationships with people. He was passionate about real estate and construction while demonstrating kindness,
humor, love, and rock-solid integrity.
